As to be expected, our girlfriend getaway to Anna Maria Island was a blast!

There was plenty of this…

And lots of this, thanks to Hurricane Ike…

A few of these at the Sun House at sunset…

But one too many of these…

And a tons of this…

But thankfully, none of this…

I have been a SAHM for 7 years and this was my first mom’s getaway. This trip was long overdue! Perhaps, it was the right time or the right group of ladies, but it all made for a perfect weekend.

I am amazed! And a tad bit jealous!! I’ve been a SAHM for close to 6 years now and I NEED a getaway!

Looks like a great time! I love that last one, no one wants any of that during girls weekend, we just want to hear how much they missed us when we get home.
