I started with a set of 12 manly push-ups and it was quite a struggle to push through them. I thought I was going to die. Now, one possible explanation could be that I did today’s challenge at night after dinner when I typically do my push-ups in the morning. There is another possible reason, but I will explain that all tomorrow. I have a killer headache and I need to lie down.
So, to recap today’s challenge: first set of 12 were manly with much struggle and sets of 17, 13 and 13 were all girlie push-ups. I really hope to start week 4 on Friday and I may be able to if I only do all girlies push-ups.

Way to go! I did the 100 push up challenge last summer and FAILED. I repeated week 4 about 3 times — same for week 5. I was determined to do full push ups the whole time and that killed me. After my failure, I started doing weeks 3 and 4 w/girl push ups as part of my workout routine and that worked for me.
GOOD LUCK with the challenge!

Girlie-push ups sound so…”Girlie”. You have to come up with a better anme for them. Maybe…”bent knee” or something like that…

Is anyone else fixating on the fact that their carpet really needs to be vacuumed while doing push-ups? I think this is derailing my progress…
