Petite Pianists

After months of lessons and countless hours of practicing the piano, the girls had their first recital last Saturday and the whole family came out to hear them play.

For their big debut, the girls had to memorize one piece.Β  Emmalynn was so nervous, but Allana showed no signs of any stage fright.

(Please excuse the clicking sounds in the videos.Β  That’s me video recording and snapping photos at the same time.)

We showered the girls with hugs, kisses, praise and a huge applause for a fabulous job, but Grandma presented our petite pianists with flowers for their first concert.

Splendid my friend. They did so well and are such cuties πŸ™‚ Excellent and thanks for sharing. I can just feel how proud you must be πŸ™‚

I bet they loved those flowers! They’ll definitely appreciate knowing how to play piano as they get older. It’s one of my favorite things to do now (in public or private), even though recitals always scared me witless! πŸ™‚

Fabulous! My kids just started piano lessons – I need to work harder at making sure they are practicing everyday – they are slipping under the radar.

Your girls did great at their recital and how wonderful that they have such a great support system!

Great job done by both! That’s so cute that they had to push the bench closer for your youngest daughter.
I remember my recitals when I was little. I was always nervous.
