Music Monday: Care

When I first heard Kid Rock sing this live along with Sheryl Crow, The Roots and T.I. at the  Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, it gave me goose bumps and moved me to tears.  Hard to believe a Kid Rock song could ever impact me like that, but it did.

I searched the Internet for a better video of this song, but this is the best I could find.  The message is still loud and clear no matter how poor quality the video. It seemed very fitting as we move into the holiday season.

The least that I can do is CARE.

Care is featured on Kid Rock’s new album Born Free, which will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, November 16.

the thought of kidrock and cheryl crow on a duet is a s off-the-wall as…well…Streisand and Barry Gibb was in the 70’s. One never knows. good pick.

    I just love Kid Rock.
At first when he rapped, I sorta liked him but then his range just blew me away!
Sheryl Crow is just so talented.
Thank you for the video, it was such a nice Monday treat!

What an amazing song… thank you for sharing it and WooHoo, congrats on your spotlight dance!
    You are a superstar!!
I have learned to like some of Kid Rock’s songs now – I don’t like any rap, but his latest stuff is beautiful (and I like Pictures, also, that he does with Cheryl Crow).
Thanks for always playing along, I’m really glad you were chosen for the spotlight dance!
