Florida Snowmen

Since it rarely ever snows in Florida, we usually make our snowmen out of sand. But over winter break, Auntie Kirsten and Meghan taught the girls and me how to build snowmen out of Ivory soap, toilet paper and a little warm water.

And as if that wasn’t messy enough, the girls made edible snowmen out of marshmallows, pretzel sticks, orange Tic Tacs, black decorating gel and jelly beans.  A little icing between each marshmallow glued the snowman’s body together.

Meghan, Allana and Emmalynn loved their sticky, soapy, “snowy” day fun.

LOve those ideas!!! I think I have seen an Ivory soap project before but can’t remember if it was snowmen. Super cute. And of course (being a food lover) I do love the marshmellow snowmen, too!

These are so cute! Unfortunately we have TOO much snow here, but my kids would get a kick out of being able “keep” their snowmen.
Saw that you joined up at the Sisterhood! Linked here through Kathie @FFF. Glad you joined! The challenges are awesome! We’re a good crew to RUN with : )

What a great idea! We have plenty of snow here, but it makes a good indoor project for when it’s too cold outside. Thanks for stopping by.
