Calling All The Monsters! It’s Almost Halloween! Get Ur Freak On!

China Anne McClain of Disney’s A.N.T. Farm released a treat just in time for Halloween and my girls love it.  The choreography reminds me of Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

Halloween is only two weeks away!  I CAN’T WAIT!

My Glee Cheerio cheerleader costume arrived and it fits perfectly and no muffin top was visible.  Thank goodness! Allana will approve.  However, other parts may be visible, so I’ll need to wear a pair of running shorts underneath my skirt.

I have to admit, I will look so cute running in the Frakenfooter half marathon as a Cheerio cheerleader.  I think I’ll also wear it trick-or-treating with the kids this year.  Fun!

My friend, Chrissy is hosting the adult Halloween party this weekend, which should be a devilishly good time as always.  I am so ready to get my drink freak on!

I haven’t officially unveiled our couple costume for the adult party on the blog yet, but I am dying to spill the beans.  It’s a good one.  All will be revealed for next week’s Music Monday when I post pictures from the adult party.

For the next two Music Mondays, I will be sharing my favorite Halloween jamz.  I would love to hear what Halloween songs move your spirit.  Link up and play along…if you dare.  Muhahahahahahaha!

Why is the American tradition to dress up as *anything* on Halloween and not just as something scary? It’s something I’ve wondered for a while.

Some people dress up as scary and spooky creatures of the night, like vampires or zombies. I saw a toddler the other day dressed as Chuckie. That’s pretty scary! Those Scream masks always give me eevie jeevies. I don’t do scary because I can’t handle scary. But as far as dressing up as “anything”, it’s just fun to be silly and let your hair down, especially when people reward you with sweets for your effort. Everyone is a kid on Halloween.

Wow, Chuckie is proper creepy! I’m hoping to come out to the States to visit friends next year and would love to be there for Halloween. You guys make much more of a fuss about it than we Brits do and I just think it would be sooo coool!

Dancing with you this Monday. I can’t believe how quickly this month is fleeting by us and Halloween is in sight. I don’t do the big scary stuff for Halloween, either and would never allow our kiddos to dress in anything that evil. I like the cutesy stuff – princesses and cowboys and the such. I’m looking forward to making my home-made caramels for our Halloween treat!

Indeed it’s almost halloween. I’m not familiar with your selection but glad you posted them so I learn new songs this week. I will watch out for the couple costume. It must be a riot! Just like your title – Calling all the monsters… now I’m excited for halloween myself 🙂

I haven’t heard any of these before. Guess I will add them to my musical education. Thanks for sharing. Those first couple of videos those kids look rather young & so talented.
