Soup du Jour: I’m Gonna Pop Some Tags

soupdujour_blogbuttonI love thrift stores.  Some of my favorite clothing items were purchased at my local Goodwill and in today’s vlog post, I show you a few of them.

Truthfully, I find some strange pleasure when someone compliments me on my blouse and I tell them I bought it at a thrift store.  Their reaction is priceless and almost as rewarding as my $3 blouse.

That is a pretty running top! Love that light green color. The Gap top is something my sister would love. The pirate pattern on the Roxy would have won me over too! Is there a certain Goodwill you go to for these finds?

    *work it* *own it* ;)

Plato’s Closet is my jam! ( as is the Thrift Store song). I never knew it existed until I moved to Florida and now I get a ton of clothes there. Like the song says, there’s really no sense in spending a ton of money on “trendy” clothes that will be out of style in a few months anyway!

You know, I have NEVER been to Plato’s Closet! I’m going to have to check it out. I’m to cheap to pay for price for anything, especially clothes. Occasionally, I’ll splurge but I always feel guilty if I pay full price.

I just went to the Goodwill on Gandy in St. Pete. I bought some really amazing things. I have gotten so many compliments… my problem is, i can’t just say thank you. I have to tell them about my amazing trip to goodwill and how much I spent… I have word vomit when it comes to a good deal! :) Love it! You are too funny!
