Pinning and Planning – Week of April 28 {Dinner Menu}

PinningPlanning RunDMT Pinning and Planning Week of March 23 Dinner MenuOnce again, I’m switching things around and sharing my Pinning and Planning post a few days early. On Sunday, I will be joining the Sunday Supper Movement once more for the “Five Ingredients or Less Challenge” to feature one of my favorite comfort foods, Tomato Soup. Swing by Supper Sunday for a sneak peek of all the tasty Five Ingredients or Less recipe roundup and be sure to stop by here again on Sunday for my Tomato Soup recipe.

Speaking of tasty things, Greenwise NY Strip Steak is on sale this week at Publix, which stirred my inner and often curbed carnivore. We haven’t had red meat in a while and I believe when my body craves it, I need to eat it. I guess my red meat craving is twice as strong as normal, because I planned two red meat meals this week. Sometimes you just can’t fight the carnivorous cravings and you just need to succumb to some steak. The carnivore is strong in this one.

Besides not having steak in what feels like forever, it has been such a long time since we have enjoyed one of our favorite meals, Encebollado, which is a wonderful Latin steak and onions dish and one of Iron Chef Allan’s specialties.
