Pinning and Planning Our Dinner Menu – Week of December 13

Twelve days until Christmas! What the what what? When in the jingle bells did that happen?

Things are definitely feeling festive in the Run DMT house as we’re jingling all the way through the kids’ Advent calendar and our craft beer Advent calendar.

Even the elves, Twinkle and Giggle, have been sleighing it with their usual merry mischief.

We’ve been writing Christmas lists, gazing at Christmas lights while sipping on hot chocolate, reading Christmas stories.

To make the season even more magical, we even visited the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas.

But like so many other families this holiday, we’ve also been shopping, baking cookies and crafting homemade peppermint bark and soon we will be staging photos for our Christmas cards. Between busy elves, shopping and baking, there’s still so much to do to prepare for Christmas and with all this merry making, I’ve been keeping our dinner menu simple and light.

With that, here’s this week’s dinner menu. Here’s to keeping meals merry and light this season!

Sunday – Sticky Asian-Style Ginger Grilled Wings with Unfried Parmesan Steak Fries and Mixed Greens Salad

Meatless Monday – Skinnytaste’s Black Bean Burgers with Low Fat Classic Cole Slaw

Tuesday – Loaded Baked Potatoes and Roasted Broccoli

Wednesday – Chicken Caprese Panini Sandwiches

Thursday – Eggie Middles

Friday – Pizza and a Mixed Greens Salad
