Paperless Post: Beautiful, Affordable Stress-Free Holiday Cards

I received Paperless Post coins in exchange for the following review. All photos, designs and opinions of Paperless Post are my own.

Holiday cards have to be the worst holiday chore. I suppose many friends and family agree because I receive fewer and fewer cards each holiday season.

In this electronic age email-social-media-instant-gratification world, sending traditional holiday cards has become an outdated trend.

I mean, I still make an effort in planning our Christmas portraits. I decide the color theme, what each of us will wear and find a spot for a perfect family photo.

Then, I share the photos on Facebook for all my friends and family to gaze upon, but only a handful of friends and family will receive a paper card. When the holiday cards from friends and family start to arrive in the mail, I hang the holiday cards on the wall and set aside the envelopes to send a holiday card in return. But like many of you, I don’t know the mailing address many of my friends and colleagues because we correspond via email.

If you still enjoy sending and receiving holiday cards, why not bring the holiday chore into the electronic age?

This season, I am truly grateful for the simplicity of Paperless Post holiday cards. Paperless Post delivers all the beauty and joy of holiday cards without all the stress.

If you are familiar with designing digital cards on online, then you will find the Paperless Post to be a very similar and simple process, but honestly a bit more enjoyable.

Paperless Post - Holiday card selection

To begin the process, I uploaded a few of my favorite family photos (just like you would on any online holiday card design site) and Paperless Posta perused through the Paperless Post holiday card selections. There are so many gorgeous holiday card designs to choose from and you can sort your options depending on colors, layout and number of photos. In fact, many of the Paperless Post holiday cards are FREE. Depending on the design and extra flare you add to your card determines the cost.

Paperless Post - PhotosRather than an actual dollar amount, Paperless Post assigns a coin value to each card and you purchase coin packages based on your design and number of recipients. The coin price per recipient is based on the options you choose such as background, envelope liners and card inserts, which can be added or removed. You can purchase your coin package after you design card and are ready to send it. Review the cost associated with Paperless Post coins here.

Right now, when you set up your account, Paperless Post will give you 25 coins. However, if you choose a free card, you can send a free card to up 2,000 email addresses.

Paperless Post - Envelope

I honestly had fun designing my holiday card. I decided against a background because I didn’t want to take away from our family photo and I also selected a free stamp design. (There are some super cute holiday ones!) However, I splurged on a pretty envelope and liner design that matched our holiday card.
