I’ve been having a lot of God guilt lately with the biggest guilty feeling being that I have been to church in months. Not to mention that I’ve had all sorts of Catholic guilt because I didn’t give anything up for Lent.
I’m not making excuses for my lack of spiritual commitment lately, but sometimes I feel like I’m treading water in a sea of chaos which is my life of raising three kids. I know if I called onto God and reached out my hand to Him, He will lift me up.
Maybe I should send up a flare via prayer? Perhaps then He’ll toss me a life preserver and pull me back into church.

A flare via prayer is what I’ve been sending up lately – and I only have one kid to create chaos, I can’t imagine three times the chaos! 😉
I hadn’t heard that song before – LOVE it! 🙂
Spiritual Music Monday Blog Hops
I also have just one. One handful with a special thing going on to boot. Hang in there. I see no reason why there wouldn’t be any positive reply from above 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my place last week and telling me about your hop. I’ve linked up. And, it looks like we’re listening to music in the same town!
I’ve never heard this one before. Pretty good. I guess it’s because I never have God guilt but that’s just me 🙂 Have a great day 🙂
Linking up with you today. By the way, how do I get your blog button for your Monday Music meme? Since I didn’t have it, I just about forgot to come over today. Luckily I saw it on Stacy Uncorked site. Way to go Stacy! Anyhow, hope you’ll play along with me today. =D

Ooo I love this one! Adding it to my playlist! Happy Music Monday! x
God is not keeping score. Whatever you believe God to be will always be there. God did not put us here to feel guilty about something man-made, like religion. Save guilt for real sins. Living your life as best you can in accordance to your belief system is what matters most.
Amen. I know exactly what you mean, and I had four kids to raise, but now they have kids to raise and I’m their sounding board I guess. lol Cute song. Totally well worth the listen. Hey, can I borrow one of those flares? lol Have a great day & thanks for playing along with us. Hope to see you next week too! Bring a friend.
Oh. Em. Gee. Yep, that’s me! Love it!! x
Oh the guilt! can you believe we haven’t even baptized #3 yet! the child is 3 years old already! Dumb Dad blames me. I blame him. We are blamers. And clearly very, very bad. Good luck getting back on track!
What a sweet song with a great message… thanks for posting. 🙂
Life sure does get in the way of all our plans – doesn’t it? Personally I do not believe there is any purpose to God guilt. If there is an infinite being, he (or she) gets what life is all about – if you thoughts & actions are good, that is so much better than doing the time in the pew
I like it 🙂
Thanks for sharing.

Oh this is another favorite of mine. It’s so real!
Sometimes I drop to my knees in tears and prayer just for fortitude to make it through dinner and brushing teeth and stories and whining and etc and sitting down.
Yes. This is the stuff.
I love it!
I can relate very well to this song. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed week 🙂
