From start to finish, Denise is Run DMT, a Tampa Bay homeschooling mom on the run trying to maintain an easy pace through it all between races and raising three beautiful, brilliant adultish kids (ages 23, 19, 14). In 2007, I discovered a passion for running and in February 2015, I completed my tenth marathon. I continue to train for a variety of races and even host annual 5K. In 2023, I became a certified group fitness instructor and teach P.E. in my homeschool co-op.

She’s so brave. I never had the guts to jump off the diving board when I was younger. Still don’t.
This was a HUGE milestone for Allana! She is terrified of heights, but she really wanted to jump off the diving board. Somehow my timid little one found the courage to be brave. I was so proud of her! You can see by her expressions that she just loved it and was so proud of herself too.
She’s a natural! 🙂 I love the picture series you posted.

Great pool shots. I remember being that age and scared to death to jump. It wasn’t so much the height as it was the sheer volume of water that would end up in my nose if I forgot to hold it!

I only wish that my eldest would be wiling to do this and get her face wet…she still gets all upset when her face gets wet and will not go underwater.

Cute swimsuit. My DD2 is a fish but hates swim team, so she just swims for fun. She loves those swim shirts, they save her shoulders. Now she just burns on her eyelids, poor kid. Come see my WW today!
That swimsuit has saved Allana’s shoulders this summer. That and SPF 50! Poor kids have my DH’s complexion.
