Denise
From start to finish, Denise is Run DMT, a Tampa Bay homeschooling mom on the run trying to maintain an easy pace through it all between races and raising three beautiful, brilliant adultish kids (ages 23, 19, 14). In 2007, I discovered a passion for running and in February 2015, I completed my tenth marathon. I continue to train for a variety of races and even host annual 5K. In 2023, I became a certified group fitness instructor and teach P.E. in my homeschool co-op.

    Wendy got reading glasses last year. She only needs them when she is transitioning from the board to her desk and back and forth. So she never wears them at home. School filmed a video about the middle division and she was in it with her glasses on and I watched it twice before I recognized her!

    We got Tristan contacts this summer. I got so used to the glasses that it took me several weeks to no longer have the urge to panic that he lost his glasses when I looked at him. Oddly enough, as traumatized as I was when he first got glasses, I actually miss them now. Emmalynn looks so adorable in her glasses, I think you are going to miss them too if she ever gives them up.
