Feetures! Socks Review and Giveaway

Next to your shoes, socks are the next most vital piece of equipment when it comes to running.  Any seasoned runner will tell you socks should…

  • wick.
  • stay put.
  • prevent blisters.

Those are three critical criteria when picking socks and for me, Feetures! delivers all three.  Plus, they fit like a glove.

I first learned about Feetures! from my friends at Suncoast Running.  Tracey, the owner, swore by them.  So, on a whim, I gave them a try and for nearly two years now, I’ve been wearing the light cushion socks ever since.

Recently, when my plantar fasciitis began acting up again, my friends at Suncoast Running recommended I try the Feetures! Plantar Fasciitis Sleeve.  As soon as I slipped the sleeves on, I immediately felt a difference in my heels.

Since they only come one per package, I purchased two sleeves that day and since then, I’ve been wearing them every time I run.  Occasionally, I even wear them to bed when my heels flare and get grumpy.

And then, I lost one.  (I suspect my two year old may have thrown it out.)  So, I tweeted my loss and my new found friends at Feetures! sent me a replacement sleeve as well as a couple of pairs of Elite Light Cushion No Show Tab Socks.  My feet were very happy again.

In case you’re curious how the sleeves fit, I slip the sleeves on and wear the sleeves UNDER my socks.  Since I wear wide shoes, I have plenty of room for both the socks and the sleeves.

And while my feet are feeling better in Feetures! socks, I can also feel better about my carbon footprint.  Feetures! uses eco-friendly packaging that is composed of recycled paper and soy based inks.  In addition, a portion of the sales from each Feetures! sock will be donated to the National Forest Foundation and that makes Woodsy Owl very happy!  Happy feet and happy little trees!

    I would love to try the Elite Light Cushion socks. I will be spending a LOT of time on my feet in the upcoming months while I train for my 50K and need some more good socks!

    I love the Features Ultra light socks. I notice a huge difference in the summer keeping my feet cooler and never getting blisters. I also got a plantar fasciitis sleeve for Christmas and really like it but would LOVE another one! Having only one makes it hard when its dirty or the 3 year old hides it! 🙂

    Ok, I’ve never tried Feetures before. I’ve always been a Balega sock wearer. I love my hidden cool Balega’s, but I am willing to try something new. I will certainly try them if they are free! I like the Light Cushion No Shows and the PF sleeves.

    I love them all! I still haven’t found a pair of socks that offer that “sweet spot”. It seems like no matter what socks I wear, once I get to 10+ mile-runs, I get blisters on my pinkie toes. I also need a new pair of compression socks!

    The high performance light cushion no show tab socks look right up my alley. Also, as someone who has dealt with PF in the past, I’d love to try out the PF sleeve. I’ve never worn Feetures before but all of their socks look really nice.
