Allana had the brilliant idea to make throw pillows out of her old dresses. But she forgot one small detail: I don’t sew. I can barely stitch buttons.
Fortunately, Grandma offered her expertise, taught Allana to sew and helped Allana fulfill her pillow dream.
What a brilliant idea this is! I would love to know how to sew… and if I do, I’d love to make a quilt out of the baby clothes of the kids (well, whatever I have left that I hadn’t given away yet). =)
Awww they did come out super cute! Meg’s been hunting for old clothes! lol
one little clue for you – stitch witchery!! like magic I tell you
What a wonderful idea. Love the results!
Oh my goodness. Those pillows are great! Allana did such a fantastic job. 🙂 Maybe we’ll see her creations on Etsy someday?
LOVE that she decided what she wanted to do and found a way to do it with grandma!

And I am finding we have so much more in common. The VERY thing I say when people ask about sewing is…”I can barely stitch a button !”
