It’s hard to believe I started compiling these lists of virtual races on a whim a year ago and now, I find these lists therapeutic and necessary as they help me focus on a virtual running goal in the absence of in-person races.

In the running community, more and more races are returning to in-person and there’s some semblance of a life before the pandemic. However, many races are still offering in-person and virtual options, if you’re still not ready to face crowds.
In mid-March, I received the J&J jab.
And this week, I returned to the gym after a year of lockdown. Not gonna lie. There were many happy tears to be back at the gym.
While I am thrilled to be back at the gym, I’m still not ready for crowds in corralls at races. For that reason, I will still hunt down fun runs and virtual races to share with you. We’re still in this together and not out of the woods yet.
