Not Another Peep

Amy of Keeping Up with the Schultz Family introduced me to my new favorite Easter candy: Chocolate Peeps.

 

 

Now, I can’t get enough of these delicious heavenly chocolate covered clouds.

 

 

But, I need to put down the Peeps for a bit because I have a glucose test this morning.

    When I was a kid my mom (aka the EB) put Peeps in our Easter baskets. We never ate them. Now at 31, I put those blasted things in MY kids baskets so that I can eat them. Shame. But man they are so good! I’ve avoided the ones dipped in chocolate for fear I’d have a bigger problem on my hands! HA!

    Chocolate covered peeps? Yum! I heard a long time ago that they stay in your body for like 7 years – but they are soo yummy it’s never stopped me from having a few. 🙂 Have a great week!

    Where we live it may be years before we get to taste new Peeps products. We are always the last for any new product.
    Think of saving one for after your test as a reward.

    Those look good. My kids love the Reese’s eggs that look like that and my daughter loves the marshmallow Peeps. I’ve never seen these chocolate ones though.

    I’ve had chocolate covered marshmallows before, but not Peeps’ brand. I have to say, I’d rather eat those than the usual sugar covered ones, blech! LOL
