From start to finish, Denise is Run DMT, a Tampa Bay homeschooling mom on the run trying to maintain an easy pace through it all between races and raising three beautiful, brilliant adultish kids (ages 23, 19, 14). In 2007, I discovered a passion for running and in February 2015, I completed my tenth marathon. I continue to train for a variety of races and even host annual 5K. In 2023, I became a certified group fitness instructor and teach P.E. in my homeschool co-op.

Isn’t that such a great song? I find the words so inspiring! Thanks for complimenting my abs. 🙂 I should post a before and after pic so everyone can see the long road it took to get to this stage.

What a cool start…with the flames and everything, but that doesn’t help at mile 20, does it?

The flames, fireworks, the Disney characters, the tens of thousands of runners and the cheering spectators and really got my adrenaline pumping!

I really did smile the whole time! I just had fun with it and didn’t take the races too serious. My goal was to run the entire thing and finish.

looove your video! your pics are *so cute* i wish i had 1 turn out as good. i love all the ‘action’ shots of the race and all the people. seeing the different sections of the course brought back some of my lost memories. loved it so much!
