Although I may grumble and grouse
About random piles of paper
Strewn throughout the house
I really do love all the little notes
And pictures you leave for me
My life is cluttered by your drive-by drawings
And random acts of artwork laying about
But I can’t seem to toss them in the trash
No more than I would toss you out
So my floor may sparkle
No thanks to floor cleaner of pine
But rather from the sparkly glitter
You leave behind
Nonetheless
The mess masterpiece is mine
Just like you
My creative and crafty Valentine

It is wonderful that she leaves notes of love and drawings for you. I hope she always will.
I love this!!
SO sweet!
What a wonderful poem.
We can’t keep everything they bring home, the sheer weight would collapse the house, but there are treasures to be found. Glimmers of greatness. Flashes of potential brilliance.
What a beautiful tribute.
Well done 🙂
Oh how sweet and one of my favorite reasons to find glitter all over my house too 🙂
So, so sweet, Denise. I really love this!

How sweet!!
So very loving and the picture just said it all. I love all the art work from my children too, I cherish them and file them away like treasures.
LOVE the poem (very clever and SO familiar to me!! We have paper and crafty piles EVERYWHERE) and LOVE the shot (those freckles are delicious)!
