Run the World

On Saturday, my girls ran the Gasparilla Junior race.

Yesterday, I ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon.

Then in a couple weeks on St. Patrick’s Day, the girls and I will run the Spring Sprint 5K.

It sure does feel like we run the world.

Yep, me and my girls, we run this mother.

From start to finish, Denise is Run DMT, a Tampa Bay homeschooling mom on the run trying to maintain an easy pace through it all between races and raising three beautiful, brilliant adultish kids (ages 23, 19, 14).     You look cute with your tiarra and earbuds. You go girl! I admire people who can run like this and a part of me (small part) wishes I could do this, too. Oh well, I’ll keep doing what I do best – floor aerobics and cycling! Keep rockin’ the week through!

      That is so funny that you mention the ear buds, because this is the only photo I forgot to take them out! lol When I posed for almost every other photo opp, I thought the same thing. “Princesses don’t wear ear buds” and I took them out and hid them in my hand behind a character’s back.

    You’re truly Princess for a day! What I want to know is did you run in glass slippers? ~snicker~ Fabulous job & with that smile it looks like you had a blast. So your girls are following in their mother’s footsteps. That’s fabulous! Couldn’t have thought of a better song to go through all that. Great choice & have a great day.

      Yes, surprisingly I wore the tiara and tutu the entire 13.1 miles and for the drive home. I made quite a spectacle of myself at McDonalds when I stopped to use the bathroom.
