Happy Sweet 16th Birthday, Allana

Over sixteen years, we watched our little princess turn into an incredible young woman.

Allana Rose Taylor, the name you were given at birth – A.R.T – runs through your veins. It’s the essence of who you are.

While painfully shy, Allana is fiercely courageous when it comes her art. Our daring, brave confident budding artist, challenges the system and walks to a different beat with a rally cry looking out for others who need a champion. She has an amazing perspective of the world and has her sights on doing fantastical things.

From the very moment I held you in my arms, I beamed with pride. Your father and I have only grown more and more proud of the person you are becoming and we are truly grateful for the ART-filled world given to us.

From start to finish, Denise is Run DMT, a Tampa Bay homeschooling mom on the run trying to maintain an easy pace through it all between races and raising three beautiful, brilliant adultish kids (ages 23, 19, 14). In 2007, I discovered a passion for running and in February 2015, I completed my tenth marathon. I continue to train for a variety of races and even host annual 5K.
