Sunday Running Log

As promised, I headed out for my weekly long distance run.  My running partner, Tiffany, and I trotted through our neighborhood.  A running partner keeps me motivated and makes me accountable.  Plus, knowing I have to meet Tiffany at a certain time and place helps me get out the door quicker.

Although, it was a good run, my legs were sore today, which means I need to incorporate more strengthening and weight training into my routine again.  Tomorrow is my rest day and yoga day.

According to my Garmin Forerunner, I ran 8.29 miles in 1:33:07.  Not my best time, but for my Sunday runs, I focus on going the distance rather than the time.

    Keep it up!

These days, I too am training myself … but it is just going to be a half-marathon. Do visit my blog for my updates.

    All the best!

Great job on the run. I am so impressed you ran that far in the heat. You will kick butt in the fall. I am hoping to be out there with you on Sunday. At least for part of it.
My legs are finally feeling better after Sat.’s run.

Great job D! I would love to get back out there and run with you when Jo is back in school! Maybe for just a couple of miles.

Whoo-Hoo! I made Denise’s Blog! I am so honored. It was a privilege to run with you. We’re almost back up to the double digits again.

To all the runners: Come one, come all, to the greatest Sunday run of all! The more the merrier!
