Wake Me Up When September Ends

So here we are: the last week of September.  I can’t believe we’re into fall already especially since it still feels summer.

Much like the temperatures, we ended the month hot by celebrating two birthdays in one weekend.  First, we celebrated my friend, Chrissy’s birthday with a pool party, which tells you just how warm it is here still.

Then, on Sunday we celebrated my hubby, Allan’s birthday, but he wanted a low-key birthday with just the kids and me.

As September draws to a close, we may have not experienced our first taste of fall, but we did taste the rainbow twice, minus the Skittles.

I believe this is a prelude to what fall and the remainder of the year has in store for us.  Good times followed by good things, good fortune and many blessings.

Thanks for stopping by and linking up to share what music moves you.  Be sure to visit Xmas Dolly and Hairbows & Guitar Picks for more Music Monday fun.

Gosh, the month has zipped by like a blinding flurry of ….I just don’t know, but it sure has gone by way too fast to suit me is all I can tell you. I’m glad relief is coming to us in small measures. We’ll get some warm days yet with quick cool offs once the sun begins to dip, which is very welcoming. We will begin to see greater changes by the mid of October. I’m not looking forward to winter, though. Blah no! Thanks for dancing with me!

Oh just look at all these wonderful pics you have shared with us! I love rainbow pics too for some reason they just make me feel good & feel happy. Silly, but that’s the way I feel. I just love to see your cutie pie little girl too with all those adorable freckles. My hubby has them too! Never heard this song I don’t think, but I like it. Have a rockin’ week & thanks for playin’ along.

I love that song, it is a bittersweet kind of song, well for me. I love your photos, you take great photos of your family and then the rainbow. We get beautiful rainbows here in Sedona too and don’t they just make a day special? Here is to enjoying the beauty of life!

I like the title of the song. There is good audience reaction there too. Happy birthday to your friend and happy birthday to the dear husband. A pool party is just perfect for warm days.

Beautiful rainbow shots! I am a little sad that September is almost over. I guess I will just have to be happy with the fact that it is my birthday tomorrow- wahoo!

A late visit from the 4Ms. Thanks for the comment you left on my page. 🙂

Your song of choice was a favorite back in college.

I love the photos you have here from the birthday of your friend and your hubby. I hope my girlfriends and I would celebrate birthdays together even when we’re older.

Adding you up now on the list of the blogs I’m following. May your dream to publish a children’s book come true.
