Over the weekend, a tragic event occurred. To respect the person’s privacy, I won’t share the person’s name or the details about the event.
This person was very close to me and yet, I never knew the demons she dealt with daily. We spent so much time together and I never knew her struggles. I never saw any red flags or signs that she was in trouble. She was always a skyscraper to me, rising above whatever problems she faced.
I hope she can rise above this too knowing how much we all care about her and love her.
I don’t know what is wrong but will pray for you and your friend! Sending love your way this Monday!
I’m so sorry to hear about your friend and appreciate your choice of song this week. I hope she realizes what a friend she has in you. That alone would help her in her struggle. Sending you light and love and best wishes for her speedy recovery.
Hope all turns out ok for your friend. She is in my thoughts. Nice song for her.
Amen <3
My heart goes out to your friend. *hugs*
So sorry about your friend. I’ll remember her in my prayers this Sunday at Mass & in my prayers this evening. Demi Lavato is such a emotional singer. The emotions are felt in your heart.
Hi Denise,
I hope your friend can overcome her obstacles and recover to the best of her ability. I recently found your blog while interning at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay(also a great place for her to contact if she needs help, we offer a TON of great services and I might contact you further in the future 🙂 ) and I’m really interested in trying out some new running spots before I graduate in May, do you have a top 5 list of places to run?
Thank you for your kind words about my friend. Reach out to me any time!
Off the top of my head, I can only think of 4 spots of my favorite spots to run in Tampa Bay.
Clearwater Bridges – Coachman Park to Sand Key Park
Bayshore Blvd.
Upper Tampa Bay Trail
Starkey Wilderness Park
Sometimes it’s the ones who seem so strong that are in trouble the most. Sad, isn’t it? I will say a prayer for your friend. God knows all about it. Thank you for joining us on Monday’s Music Moves Me!
I hope your friend can rise above. It is very hard inside to do so when you have little or no support.
