A Spa-tacular Giveway for Valentine’s Day

Recently, a few of my favorite Tampa Bay Bloggers and I were presented with an opportunity to sample some Valentine’s Day spa treatments at the Healthy Being Wellness Center in St. Pete.

Left to right: me, Crystal, Raffi, Chrissy, Jenny and Teresa

Now what blogger woman is going to pass on the opportunity for some pampering?  Not this one!  That’s for hot stones sure!

Now please don’t be jealous when you read about the fabulous kid-free time I had with my blogging friends.  With a lovely shoulder massage, the happy people of Healthy Being helped me forget about my snotty nose, filthy, flu-infested children for a little while.

Some of the services we sampled included mini facials, hand treatments, body treatments and massages which all used special Valentine’s Day Spa products, such as rose petals and chocolate.

With all the wonderful sights and smells in the spa, I felt like I was wrapped and cradled in a happy heart shaped chocolate box.

We sip, snacked and were very soothed during our spa treatments.

Healthy Being Wellness Center is a holistic and wellness center with a focus on Natural Health & Wellness Spa. In addition to all these wonderful pampering spa treatments and parties, they also offer acupuncture, massage, oncology recovery services, nutrition counseling, hormone balancing, hypnotherapy and natural skin care services.

While there, we were also encouraged to try acupuncture ear seeds to help with anxiety. Between the six of us, we have close to 20 kids, so I guess they sensed we needed some calming.

Poor Jenny needed three seeds, one for each of her children.  I only needed one chia seed for calming (little do they know), but I received extra seeds to help with the fluids in my ears due to allergies which really did help.

For your own Valentine’s Day pampering, visit the Healthy Being Wellness Center  North St Pete on 4th Street and 70th Ave N.  They are only 10 minutes from downtown St Pete and 15 minutes from South Tampa.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the generous ladies of Healthy Being Wellness Center would love for you or your special someone to experience all the same special treatments that the ladies of the Tampa Bay Bloggers enjoyed.  One lucky Run DMT winner will win a $25 gift certificate to experience their own Valentine’s Day spa services.  Contest ends February 14.

*Please note: This giveaway is only available to readers residing in the Tampa Bay area.*

The ear seeds for the fluids really worked, but I didn’t notice any difference for the anxiety or stress pressure point seed. I took mine out by Friday because they were causing me some discomfort and tenderness. Hard to believe something so small would do that! I’m like a living Princess and the Pea! lol
