Remember when I was whining about missing out on my kids’ spring break due to the flu? Well, last week felt like a spring break redo, but more like a B.C (before kids) college-style Spring Break, starting with the Pearl Jam concert which I attended with my best friend from college and my sister.
My sister is a huge Pearl Jam fan and I finally crossed this concert off my ever growing list of bucket list must-see concerts. Although our seats were not the greatest, the show was amazing and Eddie Vedder still has it 25 years later. (My goodness, has it really been 25 years?!)
The rest of the week continued to rock with another Bucs Leadership Council forum to revisit the soon to be announced youth programs – #BucsSquad. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are planning some incredible events to engage families in fitness focused fun. Stay tuned for more details!
Then, the kids I visited with our Aunt Christine from Scotland. She’s like another grandmother to my kids and they just adore her. And as you can tell, she just adores them too.
But the fun didn’t stop there! I had to travel to a town far, far away for the packet pick-up for the Star Wars 5K. I may have had a little too much fun at the expo.
It only got better the next day when I ran with Caitlyn and Jackie followed by an adult day at Hollywood Studios! Stay tuned for a full race report soon!
And then the week ended on a high note when I celebrated the Grand Opening of Big Storm Brewing newest brewery in Pasco with some blogging friends, Nanci and Chrissy. It wasn’t a Tampa Bay Bloggers event, but get a bunch of bloggers together and any event quickly become a Instagram moment.
With a retro rock concert, a No-kid Disney day and a beer binge, I certainly experienced a Spring Break redo. Now, it’s back to my meal planning mom life.

Thursday – Chicken Marsala and Mushroom Casserole
Friday – Pizza
